Making the move from corporate to start-up was eye-opening, and it permanently changed the way I looked at small business. I fell in love with so many of these brands as I watched how the founders built their businesses from scratch. I could see the passion in their work and I felt connected to their brand. It made me look forward to every product launch and email newsletter they sent my way. It really came down to one thing – storytelling.

It made me ask myself the most important question: How can I create content that will allow brands to connect with their audience on an emotional level? I wake up to this question everyday with the biggest smile on my face.

Businesses need to connect with their audience on a deeper level by pulling on their heartstrings. It’s no longer just about repeatedly describing how good your product is. It’s about sharing stories behind the brand, what your values are and how this is translated into your business. 

I created this business after 7 years of working for different corporations and start-ups. And through my experience of running my own small businesses (I ran a successful cookie business in 2020!), I’ve gained the knowledge to turn an idea into a profitable business.
